results for your body. With their combined knowledge the K-Box trainers have created workouts

After a thorough warm up you will
work through various combinations
on the pads, increasing complexity
and skill level depending on your
particular needs. Specific punching
and kicking combos target various
areas of the body with the main focus
being on the midsection, buttocks
and thighs. You then move into the
strength section of the workout.
Set up in a circuit formation you will move from
one station to the next performing
various strength, power and ply metric
exercises. These exercises have been
drawn from a wide variety of sports
and are extremely effective for all body types. You will
finish with some flexibility work to ensure long lean muscles.
K-Box Conditioning is one of the most
enjoyable and effective ways to get in shape.
Expanding on the strength section
of K-Box Conditioning, this class
employs a variety of different
training techniques to maximise
the effects on the body. The principles
of interval training, circuit training,
progression training, and a host
of other styles are incorporated into
this workout to get the very most
out of each session. This class
dedicates time to work every muscle
group in the body and delivers a
workout like no other. Expect to work,
expect to sweat, expect results. A must
do class, especially if you are grading.
K-BOX BOXING
This class is a throw back to the old
school way of training using traditional methods and equipment.
You will learn all the essential boxing moves and
combo's to ensure great technique and
a thorough workout. You will become efficient in the
use of focus pads, the heavy bag and
the floor-to-ceiling bag. You will also learn
how to shadow box properly and skip like
a pro. The essential strength elements are
not forgotten however, as we help you build
lean muscle and improve your cardio. This
is a fantastic class and compliments all
the other great classes that K-Box Studios offer.
K-BOX SPARRING
For those of you who want to take their training
to the next level, we offer a sparring
class once a week. Full protective gear
must be worn and the class is taught by
fully qualified instructors, who have competed
themselves, so not only do they know what they
are talking about, they also have your safety in mind.
This class is a fantastic way to try out the skills
you have learned in the other classes and put them to the test in a controlled enjoyable environment.
Every two months we hold specialised Gold, Silver and Bronze
gradings for both casual K-Boxers and members. This is a great way
to keep yourself motivated, as it gives you a goal to aim for,
without which it's all too easy to slack off. Why settle for less
than the best that you can be? The fitter and stronger you are in
life, the easier life becomes, why do you think personal trainers
are always so bloody happy? The syllabus is on the wall of the studio
so be sure to have a look over it at your leisure or ask us for more
info. Each level is guaranteed to keep you pushing yourself. $10 from
every grading is donated to 'Youth off the Streets', K-Box Studios preferred charity.
